Mrs. Neeru Deep has a Master’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Education from Punjab University, India.
She has twelve years of teaching, as well as one year of counseling experience. Mrs. Deep has extensive experience in developing and teaching online courses. She loves to teach psychology to undergraduate students and math to elementary students. She is deeply committed to high quality education and advising for diverse student population. Mrs. Deep was also awarded with the Outstanding Faculty Advisor of the Year by NSU in 2008.
She is a member of an interdisciplinary research team, Student Attitudes Research Team (ST. A. R.
T). ST.A.R.T’s purpose is to provide opportunities for graduate students, undergraduate students, and
faculty members to conduct research. Her research interests are in stress management, learning, and
online education. She is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys doing stress management workshop.
Neeru and her husband Kamal enjoy spending quality time with their daughter and son. In her free
time, Neeru enjoys playing board games (chess is her favorite game), outdoor games with her kids, reading good books, cooking, and yoga.
