2018 NSU Research Day

On April 12th, 2018 NSU held its annual Research Day where students and faculty present on research they have conducted. The Psychology department had an amazing turn out with several of our graduate and undergraduate students presenting their research. Also Dr. Patrice Moulton served as the keynote speaker presenting on her experience/research in Nepal.

PSI CHI members created decorated jars for students to donate money. The top three faculty with the most money in their jars had to dress up for Halloween. All proceeds are used to send a young woman of Nepal to school

Louisiana Workforce Forum

Next week, on September 21, 2016, Northwestern State University’s Addiction Studies program will participate in the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) /National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor Louisiana Workforce Forum in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Shelia Ray Charles, daughter of legendary Ray Charles and National Spokesperson for The Ray of Hope Crusade for Recovery, will perform and share her inspirational story of recovery.  You can attend in person or via Live Stream Video.
